Tom Ervin

Board Member

Tom is the person behind the vision here at Face of Grace. Tom’s desire to provide spiritual counseling, biblical studies, and a space for individuals to fulfill their purpose, is what gave us the impetus to begin the process and is what continues to lead us through rapid growth. Others are drawn to Tom’s outgoing personality and the joy he exhibits.

Tom is a Teaching Pastor and writes all his own curriculum for our Bible Studies and Friday services. It is through the Holy Spirit that Tom is empowered to teach the Living Word of God and prepare others in leadership.

 

 

Alma Lynn Ervin

Assistant to the Pastor
Co-founder

Alma Lynn has a passion for helping others no matter what their background or situation. Alma Lynn was fortunate to begin her internship as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor at The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Sacramento. Alma Lynn has facilitated Anger Management classes and fills in wherever needed at Face of Grace.

Alma Lynn is our administrative backbone, bringing business analyst skills, accounting skills, and a variety of computer software skills to our team, mostly acquired during years working for Hewlett Packard company.

 

 

Ron Powers

Co-founder

Ron Powers has been with us from the beginning every step of the way. Ron provides support, encouragement, leadership and wisdom in all areas here at Face of Grace.

Ron’s years of intense personal study of the bible are a foundation for his ability to minister to all those who pass through our doors.

Ron was Supervisor of the maintenance department for many years in the San Juan School District. He is our chief advisor regarding all our building maintenance needs.

 

 

Laurie Taylor

Board Member
Co-Parenting
B.S. Gerontology

Laurie Taylor developed a passion for this ministry after seeing how those released from prison or those with debilitating addictions, had their lives transformed through receiving Christ as their Savior and having a strong Christian support system to provide encouragement.

Laurie is one of our Certified Co-Parenting Instructors and brings a positivity and memorable laugh that makes all those she meets feel welcome and at home here at Face of Grace.​

Laurie is also the owner of Travel Ease, a company that escorts seniors, those who are disabled, or those who have special needs in travel.

 

 

Edward Clark

Board Member
Substance Abuse Counselor
Anger Management Professional

Edward Clark oversees our Alcohol and Drug Counseling and Anger Management Classes here at Face of Grace.

Edward focuses on instilling direction, positive reinforcement and encouragement, while adhering to mandated court-order requirements. Edward’s quiet demeanor is anchored by extensive knowledge and grace.

 

 

Roy Ballard

Associate Pastor
Worship Director

Roy is a dedicated follower of Christ and our Associate Pastor. Also, as our Worship Director he helps fulfill our vision of involving as many people as possible in our ministry of worship. His vision is that our Spirit-filled worship services will always glorify God and point people to Christ and that our people will have the opportunity to develop their God-given talents and gifts.

Roy has a heart for the formerly incarcerated and works at Center For Employment Opportunities. He is an Advocate for the Justice-Impacted and believes that through Christ and a redemptive community those returning to society after prison can be empowered to move forward and live productive fulfilling lives.

 

 

David Sieminski

Chaplain
Advisor

David became our Chaplain at Face of Grace shortly after we opened our doors. David brings many skill-sets to our team. In addition to being our Chaplain, David is a trusted advisor.

David’s extensive involvement in the Christian community in this area include being a Chaplain at Bayside Church in Granite Bay, a First Aid volunteer, as well as the founder of the Bayside Widower’s care group. In addition David is a Minister for the Universal Life Church.

​David works part-time in the biomedical field and has 30 years as a field service engineer, traveling nationally to service hospitals.

 

 

Patti Greene

Co-Parenting
B.A. Organizational Leadership/psychology

Patti, a steadfast believer in Jesus Christ, has a passion for helping others find their way to a richer and deeper spirit-filled Christian walk.

As a member of Face of Grace Patti brings her talent for teaching and coordinating to our outreach ministry for Co-Parenting. For many years Patti was a bridge connecting local host families to international students with PeopleLink. She also put her skill sets to use by participating in the launching of Heights Church where she was a founding member.

A seasoned teacher, Patti homeschooled her two children, taught English during her time with PeopleLink, was a ministry leader in guiding people to find their spiritual gifts at Heights Church and has also spent time teaching classes on anger management and other personal growth related classes.

Patti’s friendly demeanor along with her straightforward approach helps encourage those seeking to improve their parenting skills.
